This is one of my childhood dishes and I always request my mother to cook this as I always crave for her home cooked mee hoon kway.
Few years back, I asked her about the process of making this dish, from how to knead the dough, to the ingredients needed. I jotted it down on a piece of paper but I lost it.
I craving for it again, so decided to make it for our lunch today. Due to my injured hand, I am unable to knead the dough manually. Luckily I have the professional mixer to knead the dough for me which save me a lot of sweat.
Ended up making a big pot which is way too much for 2 persons to finish but yet I manage to finish them! However, my mother's mee hoon kway is still taste the best!
